Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A rural Rochester house was burglarized Sunday while the owner was at church and the loss has been put in the thousands of dollars.

The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office says the owner and her daughter returned from church around 11:00 AM and discovered the residence had been ransacked. Besides the mess, they found the thief or thieves had made off with $4,000 in cash and jewelry worth $13,000.

The home is located in the 5400 block of Timberidge Ct SE. It appears entry was made through an unlocked door.
