How Do You Discipline Your Kids?

The Force is strong with this dad!

Y'know those paddle balls? The wooden paddle with a rubble ball on a rubber band stapled down to it? I never played with mine. Mom always tore the rubber ball off and used the paddle as God intended it. When I misbehaved.

How do you handle discipline? Reason? Corporal punishment? Grounding? Taking away privileges.

One dad used The Force against his angry step-daughter. They got into a disagreement. She pulled a couple of knives.

Apparently, it was a real berserker rage. She tried to stab her step-dad.

So, Dad grabs a toy lightsaber. He holds her off and gets in a few licks of his own before the cops show up.

I wonder if the epic battle looked anything like this.

I wonder how long she'll be grounded when she gets home from detention.
