Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - No travel is still advised across southeastern Minnesota but the majority of the major roadways have been reopened.

The main exception is I-90 Stewartville to near Fairmont in south-central Minnesota. The State Transportation Department says its crews continue to work diligently clear the large snow drifts that have clogged the freeway, particularly in the Dexter area between Stewartville and Austin. Large front end loaders have been brought in to scoop the deep snow off the roadway.

I-35 from Owatonna south into Iowa also remains closed this afternoon.

The majority of the roadways in the region, while open, remain treacherous for travelers and the State Patrol is busy again today responding to reports of vehicle spinouts and vehicles off roadways. There is a chance travel conditions could deteriorate this afternoon because of the possibility of some light snow. The National Weather Service is also saying snow is likely tomorrow with around an inch of accumulation possible.
