
Albert Lea Driver Injured After Hydroplaning, Striking Sign on I-90
A small SUV, traveling west on the interstate, hydroplaned, left the roadway and hit a sign on the side of the road, the state crash report says.
Albert Lea, MN (KROC-AM News)- A crash on Interstate 90 in southern Minnesota sent a motorist to the hospital.

He was the only person driving the only vehicle involved in the crash.
The State Patrol responded to the single-vehicle crash shortly before 10:30 Monday night.

25-Year-Old Albert Lea Man Injured After Hydroplaning on I-90, Striking Sign
The injury crash occurred at the I-90 and Hwy. 13 interchange in northwestern Albert Lea.
A small SUV, traveling west on the interstate, hydroplaned, left the roadway and hit a sign on the side of the road, the state crash report says. I-90 was described as wet at the time of the crash.

25-year-old Zachary Andrew Petersen of Albert Lea was identified as the driver. He was taken to a hospital in Albert Lea with non-life-threatening injuries, the State Patrol says.
Petersen was buckled up and alcohol was not involved in the crash, according to the state crash report.
The Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office and Mayo Clinic Ambulance also responded to the crash.
