
Teen & Truck Driver Traveling Opposite Directions Hurt in Crash on I-90 Southwest of Rochester
A car heading east on I-90 and the westbound semi and trailer collided, the state crash report says
Racine, MN (KROC-AM News)- A teenager and semi truck driver were hurt after colliding on Interstate 90 in southeast Minnesota.

Both drivers were the only occupants of the vehicles. The State Patrol responded to the crash shortly after 12:30 Wednesday afternoon.
The state crash report says the semi and other vehicle were traveling in opposite directions.

Car Enters Opposite Lanes and Collides With Semi on I-90 in Mower County
The crash occurred a mile southwest of the High Forrest interchange. A car heading east on I-90 and the westbound semi and trailer collided, the state crash report says.
19-year-old Emmanuel Vargas of Austin was identified as the car driver. He was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester with non-life-threatening injuries, the State Patrol says.

35-year-old Mihail Stanciu of North Bend, WA was identified as the truck driver. The State Patrol says he was treated at the scene for non-life-threatening injuries.
Both drivers were buckled up and alcohol was not involved in the crash. The state crash report also indicates the collision occurred in the westbound lanes of I-90
The Mower County Sheriff’s Office, Grand Meadow Fire and Rescue and Grand Meadow Ambulance also responded to the crash.
