Minnesota State Patrol: Woman Injured Following Three-Vehicle Crash in Eyota
Eyota, MN (KROC-AM News)- A multi-vehicle crash in Olmsted County sent a southeastern Minnesota woman to the hospital on Wednesday.

It happened shortly after 5 p.m. Three vehicles were involved in the collision, according to the State Patrol.
The crash occurred at the intersection of Hwy. 42 and 30th St. Southeast in Eyota.
St. Charles, MN Woman Injured in Crash Involving SUVs and Car on Hwy. 42 in Eyota, MN
A Ford SUV was stopped in the southbound lane waiting to make a left turn onto 30th St. when it was hit by a southbound Chevrolet SUV and southbound sedan, the state crash report says.
24-year-old Kelly Ann Cornett was identified as the driver of the Chevrolet SUV. The St. Charles woman was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester with what are being described as non-life-threatening injuries.
38-year-old Jasmine Rae Applen of Lanesboro was driving the car and the Ford SUV was driven by 45-year-old Paula Renee Walters of Dover. The two other drivers involved in the three-vehicle crash were not hurt.
All three of the women were buckled up and alcohol was not involved in the crash. Hwy. 42 was dry when the two SUVs and car collided, the State Patrol says.
The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office, Eyota Fire Department and Eyota Ambulance also responded to the crash.
