Wisconsin City Is Still One Of America’s Most Bed Bug Infested
Here's something to give you the heebie jeebies! Orkin released their annual list of the most bed bug infested cities in the country. I always look out of curiosity and just hope it doesn't hit too close to home. Ha!
Usually smaller cities don't make the list, at least the top part of the list. That means Duluth is usually marked safe which is great news.
Sadly, this year it is Wisconsin that has quite the showing here, with one popular Wisconsin city making the top fifteen list for the most bed bug infested cities in the country. Yikes.
It's not Superior, so you don't have to worry about that! The city that is the most bed bug infested in the Cheesehead State - and one of the most bed bug infested in general?
Milwaukee Among The Most Bed Bug Infested Cities For 2026
Sorry, Milwaukee. The city is always taking heat! This year, they are the thirteenth most bed bug infested city in the entire country. Yikes. This list was just released on Tuesday (July 7th) as summer travel and road trips ramp up.

If you're curious how this list is put together, Orkin uses data from May 12th of last year through the same date this year to see where they performed the most bed bug treatments. Gross! This includes residential and commercial bed bug treatments.
The good news is that Milwaukee did drop a bit this year. Last year it was up even higher on the list, coming in at number ten for 2025. They are moving in the right direction! Chicago has been named the most bed bug infested city for what it is worth.
