According to this Study – What are the “Weirdest” Towns in Minnesota? [VIDEO]
I have lived in Minnesota for most of my life. There was about 10 years when I lived in some other states, but for the bulk of my life I have lived in what people not from here perceive as a very cold state. Sure, there are times when it is super cold, but as we all know, it also gets very hot and humid here too. But that weather doesn't make the news unlike the blizzards and frigid temperatures during the winter months.
ARE YOU EVER LOST AS TO WHERE A SMALL TOWN IN MINNESOTA IS
Even though I have lived here most of my life, I'm still surprised at the amount of towns that I have never been to, or never heard of, either. Someone will say they are from (blank) and I'll ask "where the heck is that?"
CHECK OUT THE VIDEO BELOW - HOW MANY OF THESE TOWNS HAVE YOU VISITED
I found this video with a list of the craziest, or weirdest or whatever adjective you would like to pin on these towns. Not that there is anything wrong with any of them, but their names can be a bit odd. And sometimes a little silly. But there is generally a good reason as to why they town is named as such, and this video touches on just about all of it. Even though some of them might bring a little bit of a tee-hee or snicker to it. The people who live in these towns are embracing the jokes and word-play on them.
Have you been to any or all of these towns in Minnesota? What was your experience? I have heard of just about all of them, but I have not been to almost all of them. I have seen the signs for the towns with a direction on how to get there. But mostly haven't investigated. I feel like maybe that would be a great road-trip idea for the summer months.
