Dodge Center, MN (KROC-AM News) - A young child was among the three people injured this morning in a collision with a semi-truck in Dodge County.

State Patrol Investigating Highway 56 Collision

The State Patrol says the crash was reported just after 10:15 a.m. on Highway 56 about a mile south of Dodge Center. The preliminary crash report indicates the semi-truck and an SUV were both traveling south on the highway when they collided.

Child Among Three Injured in Dodge County Crash

The driver of the SUV was identified as 49-year-old Luat Xuan Phan of Austin. The State Patrol says he and his two passengers, 5-year-old Daisy Kim Phan and 43-year-old Vien Tran of Austin, were transported by ambulance to St. Marys Hospital. The crash report states all three suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Everyone Was Buckled Up

A 63-year-old Arizona man was driving the truck. He was not injured.

The State Patrol says everyone involved in the incident was wearing a seatbelt, and alcohol is not suspected.
