Lake City, MN (KROC-AM News)- One driver was hospitalized as the result of a two-vehicle crash in Lake City Saturday morning.

The State Patrol responded to the crash along Hwy. 61 in the Goodhue County portion of Lake City. The crash was reported shortly after 7:30 a.m. 

The state crash report indicates an SUV and compact car were traveling south when the two vehicles collided. The driver of the car, identified as 31-year-old Anthony Curtis Bentz of Pepin, WI, was brought to a hospital in Lake City for treatment of what are being described as non-life-threatening injuries.

The SUV driver, identified as 59-year-old Rick John Olson of Chippewa Falls, WI, and two other adult passengers in the vehicle were not injured. The state crash report indicates everyone was buckled up and that alcohol was not involved in the crash. 

The Goodhue County Sheriff's Office, Lake City Police Department, Lake City Fire Department and Lake City Ambulance also responded to the collision.
