
Man & Woman Injured in Car-Pickup Crash on Hwy. 52
Preston, MN (KROC-AM News)- Two southeast Minnesotans were injured in a crash on Hwy. 52 in Preston on Friday.

The State Patrol indicates a car and pickup truck were involved in the crash. The injured man and woman were riding in the same vehicle.
First responders were called to the crash scene shortly after 3:30 p.m.
Man & Woman from Harmony Taken to Hospital Following Crash on Hwy. 52 in Preston
Both the car and pick-up were traveling north on Hwy. 52 when they collided at the intersection with Fillmore County Rd. 12. The state crash report does not say which vehicle was leading at the time of the collision.
53-year-old Jessica Jo Hemenway of Harmony and 49-year-old Paul Sanford Hemenway of Harmony were riding in the car.
They suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were brought to a hospital in Decorah, IA for further care, the State Patrol says.
A 17-year-old boy from Harmony was driving the car. The State Patrol says he escaped the crash without injuries.

The driver of the pick-up was identified as 24-year-old Grant Samuel Fleming of Stewartville. He was also uninjured, according to the State Patrol.

Alcohol was not involved in the crash and all four occupants were buckled up, according to the state crash report.
The Fillmore County Sheriff’s Office, Preston Police Department, Preston Fire Department and Preston Ambulance also responded to the two-vehicle crash.
