
Mayo Clinic Hospitals Make Honor Roll, Named #1 in Minnesota, Arizona and Florida by U.S. News & World Report
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- Mayo Clinic is once again receiving recognition.

The Rochester-based healthcare provider has once again been named to U.S. News and World Report’s Best Hospitals Honor Roll.
“These are, simply put, the best of the best. The Best Hospitals Honor Roll highlights hospitals across the country that excel across most or all types of care evaluated by U.S. News,” the publication’s website says.

It’s the 37th time that Mayo Clinic’s hospital in Rochester has been named to the list. The Mayo Clinic Hospital in Arizona made the list for the 10th straight year and Mayo Clinic’s location in Florida is also on the honor roll.
U.S. News and World Report says their rankings are based on evaluations of hospitals procedures and conditions ratings of hospitals and on the specialty rankings.
Ranks in Specialty Areas
Mayo Clinic in Rochester took the top spots in the Diabetes and Endocrinology, Gastroenterology and GI Surgery specialty care categories.
It also came in third in the specialty care categories of Urology, Pulmonology and Lung Surgery, Orthopedics and Cardiology, Heart & Vascular Surgery.

In addition to being named to the honor roll, Mayo’s hospitals in Minnesota, Arizona and Florida also took home the top rankings in their respective states.
