Indiana Man Sentenced for Minnesota Bank Robbery

Minneapolis, MN (KROC-AM News)- An Indiana man has been sentenced for a Minnesota bank robbery.

That’s according to a news release issued Monday by the US Attorney’s Office in Minnesota. He pleaded guilty to possession of a firearm as a felon last November.

Federal court documents say 45-year-old Deundrick Damon McIntosh was one of two masked men who entered a bank in Inver Grove Heights on Dec. 22, 2022.

The pair was accused of zip-tying two bank employees and made off with approximately $80,000 in cash.

The subsequent investigation led to law enforcement executing multiple search warrants at a residence where McIntosh stored some of his property and on McIntosh’s person.

Those searches led to the discovery of bills with serial numbers matching the cash stolen from the robbery, bait bills from the bank and a firearm with an extended magazine, the news release says.

Court records indicate McIntosh is prohibited from possessing firearms due to prior felony convictions for bank robbery and domestic assault.

He was sentenced Monday to 10 years in prison, which will be followed by three years of supervised release.
