Minnesota Law Officer Airlifted to Hospital After Rollover Crash
Willmar, MN (KROC-AM News) - A law enforcement officer in western Minnesota was airlifted to a hospital in St. Cloud following a traffic crash Thursday evening.
The Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office says the single-vehicle crash was reported around 6:20 PM on a rural highway near the town of Atwater, approximately 5 miles east of Willmar. A news release says the responding deputies quickly learned the crash involved a fellow Kandiyohi County deputy who was on duty and driving a squad car.
Officials say the deputy was driving south when the squad car went off the road and rolled. Emergency responders had to extricate him from the wreckage before he was placed on a Life Link Air helicopter for transport.

The news release says the deputy, whose name has not been released, suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the crash and is in stable condition.
The crash is being investigated by the Minnesota State Patrol.
