
Motorcyclist Killed in Collision With SUV in Farmington
Farmington, MN (KROC-AM News) - The Farmington Police Department has released the name of a motorcyclist who was killed in a collision Tuesday afternoon.
A news release indicates Farmington Police Officers responded to a report of a serious injury crash around 4:20 PM at the intersection of 212th Street West and Dushane Parkway in Farmington. A preliminary investigation indicates an SUV was turning onto the Parkway and crossed into the path of an eastbound motorcycle.
The driver of the motorcycle, which crashed into the passenger side of the SUV, was pronounced dead at the scene. He has been identified as 25-year-old Tyler Wrobel of Farmington.

Farmington police say the driver of the SUV, 82-year-old Earl Schlotman of Farmington was transported to a hospital with minor injuries. His passenger, 82-year-old Janice Schlotman, was airlifted to the Hennepin County Medical Center with serious injuries.
The news release indicates the motorcyclist was wearing a helmet and both occupants of the SUV were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
