Complaint: Beer Found in Vehicle of Rochester Man Accused of Causing Motorhome Crash

First responders had to cut Castro-Orozco’s seatbelt to free him from his vehicle. The complaint also says they noticed a faint odor of alcohol coming from Castro-Orozco, who was presenting, “snoring aspirations and a weak pulse.”

Law enforcement found a beer can with a “slight amount of liquid” in the vehicle Castro-Orozco was driving, the court document states.

Castro-Orozco suffered lacerations in the crash and was complaining of pain in his left forearm and right foot, the complaint says.

Law enforcement obtained a warrant to draw a sample of Castro-Orozco’s blood. A Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension analysis of the blood sample measured his blood-alcohol concentration at 0.070, according to the complaint.

Castro-Orozco is being charged via summons. He is due to make his first court appearance in July.
