
Start Dates Set for Ramp and Lane Closures in Rochester
The ramp and lane closures to accommodate the work are scheduled to start at 10 p.m. and end by 6 a.m. during the work dates.
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) has announced a series of dates for maintenance work on Rochester’s major roadways.

To accommodate the work, MnDOT will close select ramps and lanes throughout the city. Crews will perform spring-cleanup tasks and make various repairs.
MnDOT says crews will do the work in two phases and that the closures will occur during the overnight hours on Hwy. 14 and Hwy. 52.

Overnight Ramp and Lane Closures Set to Start Sunday on Highways 14 & 52 in Rochester, MN
The first phase starts Sunday, April 20 and is set to wrap up by Thursday, April 24. Phase two will start Sunday, April 27 and end by Thursday, May 1, according to MnDOT.
A MnDOT news release says some of the work planned includes repairing damaged guardrail along Hwy. 52 from the South Broadway interchange to 75th St. Northwest, filling cracks and holes on Hwy. 52 and sweeping curbs on Hwy. 14.

Message signs will alert motorists to the closures, according to MnDOT. Officials are asking motorists to be alert for crews working during the overnight hours.
