Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- The Rochester man, who police say had hundreds of fentanyl pills on him during an arrest at Walmart, was formally charged in Olmsted County Court earlier this week.

A Rochester Police Spokesman says officers were dispatched to Walmart in northwest Rochester Monday night on the report of a man banned from the store trespassing on the premises. Responding officers found the man in the self-checkout area and learned he had an active arrest warrant in Olmsted County.

The criminal complaint says a search related to the arrest of  30-year-old Dylan Olson led to the discovery of a baggie containing 239 pills that tested positive for fentanyl. Court records indicate Olson has a previous conviction for felony drug possession in Olmsted County in 2019.

Olson was arraigned on a felony third-degree drug possession charge on Wednesday. The judge in the case set his bail at $10,000. His next court appearance is scheduled for the end of January.
