St. Paul, MN (KROC-AM News)- Police in St. Paul are investigating a deadly shooting that occurred Saturday morning.

A news release from the St. Paul Police Department said a caller in the  2300 block of Chilcombe Ave. reported their neighbor had been shot. Officers responded to the area after receiving the call around 7:30 a.m. 

Responding officers found a man suffering from gunshot wounds at the scene. He was transported to a hospital where he died from his wounds.

So far no arrests have been made. Police are asking anyone with exterior cameras in the area of the fatal shooting to examine their footage from Saturday morning and share it with investigators.

The victim’s body has been sent to the medical examiner’s office for an autopsy to determine his identity and cause of death. Saturday morning’s fatal shooting marks the 13th homicide in St. Paul this year.
