Historic St. Paul Attraction Open To Public For A Limited Time
ST. PAUL (WJON News) -- People can take in the unique panoramic views of a historic St. Paul attraction for a limited two-day open house. The Highland Park Water Tower observation deck will be open for viewing on July 20th and 21st.

Located off of Snelling Avenue and Ford Parkway viewers can climb the 151 steps of the landmark to the viewing platform to take photos or just enjoy the gorgeous sights. The Highland Park Water Tower was completed in 1928 and designed by Clarence Wigington who also designed other buildings in the area like the Como Park Pavilion and the St. Paul Public Safety Building.
The two-day open house is designed to teach people about municipal water and the efforts to protect water resources. After the weekend showing the tower won't be open to the public again until October 12th and 13th. The open house runs from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day.
