Investigators had possession of Scott’s phone from a prior investigation and saw text messages indicating Scott was involved in drug sales this past Summer, the charges say.

Officers executed the warrant and found a bag containing 4.5 grams of presumptively positive methamphetamine, a bag containing 234.6 grams of presumptively positive cocaine, the court documents say.

Scott and Kaus are each charged with one count of first-degree drug sales and first-degree drug possession. They each made their first court appearances Friday morning.
