During the argument, officers noted that Andres Perez stormed into the kitchen of the home and threw some food at her.

The report notes Perez allegedly “stormed into the kitchen in his wife’s direction throwing a McDonald’s cheeseburger at her.”

But it didn't stop there, the victim told police that Perez then followed up on the sandwich toss with a punch.

"The defendant swung at her with his left hand with a closed fist connecting with the right side of her head behind her ear," the officers noted.

Perez and the victim have been in a relationship for eight years, and married for a total of three of those eight years. The two do share children in common.

Perez was taken to the Broward County Jail, where his mugshot was taken, on a charge of misdemeanor battery.
