Rochester’s Conger Meat Market Has a New Opening Date

Conger Meat Market has been working on opening a location in Rochester and people are super excited. I first wrote about them coming to town back in mid-May.

However, they were scheduled to open at the end of October, but due to some unforeseen issues they had to delay the opening.

The only information I have been seeing online about what's going on is that a new opening date is coming soon. But I stopped by the location and was actually able to get the scoop.

When is Conger Meat Market Opening in Rochester?

I went over to Conger Meat Market (near TJ Maxx) to see if they had any signs on the doors or an update of any kind.

There were signs on the doors but they said the same thing that their message says online:

"We're postponing our Grand Opening while we work through an unexpected mechanical issue. ... We'll share a new date soon."

While I was there, there was clearly some work being done inside the store and couple of people had come out while I was reading the sign. One person who had come out let me know that they will be opening ... *drum roll* ... on Thursday! Yes, this Thursday, November 5th.

Now, I don't know if that's going to be their Grand Opening, though. I'm going to guess Thursday is the Soft Opening and they'll host a bigger Grand Opening event later. Either way, I'm excited to check them out!
