Everything at Cub West in Rochester is 30% Off Right Now
You read that correctly: Everything at Cub West in Rochester, MN is 30% off right now. There is one spot, however, that ISN'T a part of that 30% off. That'll make sense in a second.
Cub West in Rochester, MN is Closing
Two years ago, Cub West opened its doors. Sadly, the location didn't pan out how they thought it would. If I had to take a guess, I would imagine it's hard being in an area that already has Aldi, Costco, and HyVee right there.

Regardless of the reasoning, Cub West will be closing it's doors on May 30th. As we've already written about, "Effective immediately, the store is no longer open 24-hours a day. Instead it will be open from 7:00 AM until 10:00 PM."
As part of the closing process, they've marked down all of their items in the store.
Cub West Rochester, MN Closing Discounts
I saw the rumors online that everything is 30% off, but I popped by myself just to see. As soon as you walk in you're greeted by this sign:
And there are signs around the store like this:
I checked with an employee since those signs made me think that it was only those particular shelves that had the discount. But no, it's EVERYTHING in the store that's 30% off. I even bought a few things myself and, yep, it was all 30% off.
However, many of the shelves are picked over and, unsurprisingly, they aren't stocking the produce section. All the empty shelves were kind of eerie and my husband pointed out that it's probably because it reminded us of COVID times.
But there's one place in particular that ISN'T offering this 30% off discount, and that's the Cub liquor store that's also closing.
Cub West Liquor in Rochester, MN is Also Closing
Yes, they'll be closing their doors, too. I didn't see anything about a specific date for that closure, so they may still be open beyond May 30th.
I went into the liquor store to see if they happened to be offering any discounts. There are LOTS of 'on sale' tags but no mass '30% off' like in the grocery store.
