One of Southeast Minnesota's most well-known and loved light displays has announced it is now permanently closed.

Lights at Bluff Valley in Southeast Minnesota Announced it is Permanently Closed

On Monday, December 4th, Lights at Bluff Valley shared the unfortunate news on Facebook that they are permanently closed.  This gorgeous light display that many have loved throughout the years was located at 61297 390th Ave. in Zumbro Falls, Minnesota, which is about 20 minutes North of Rochester.

When news that a favorite spot is closing, many notes of support and memories usually get posted in the comments.  As soon as the announcement was made by Lights at Bluff Valley, that is exactly what happened.

I did reach out to Lights at Bluff Valley last year and was told that they weren't planning to be open for 2022.  Sad to see that this is now closed for good in our area.

Show Us Your Holiday Lights and Win Cash

I love driving around at night this time of year because in almost every neighborhood, you can find at least one house that has gone all out with the twinkle lights.  It's just gorgeous and adds that extra special Christmas magic touch to the night sky.

If you've got a holiday display up, did you know that you could actually score some free cash just by showing it to us?  It's true!  Someone is going to win $500 for helping Light Up Southeast Minnesota.  Show us your holiday display on our free app and you could be announced the winner.  Everything you need to know about the Light Up Southeast Minnesota contest can be found here.
