Minnesota’s Favorite LEGO Set is Revealed and I’m Obsessed

Everyone at some point in their life has played with LEGOs. There are even LEGO sets that are made specifically for adults now! I remember as a kid having a big tub of LEGOs. My brother and I would dump them out everywhere and just build to our hearts' content.

Because of society's obsession with LEGO, a company called MRO decided to figure out each state's favorite LEGO set. A little silly, yes, but there are two reasons why I wanted to write about this:

1. National LEGO Day is coming up this month, on January 28th

and 2. the LEGO set that's the most popular in Minnesota is part of one of my favorite franchises.

Minnesota's Most Popular LEGO Set

The way that they determined the most popular LEGO set in each state was based on Google search trends over the last 12 months.

Based on Google searches, they determined that Minnesota's favorite LEGO set is... the Hogwarts Express!

Yes, I'm a massive Harry Potter fan, so I love that that's our favorite LEGO set as a state.

The Hogwarts Express LEGO set actually tied as the third most popular LEGO set in the entire US. Second place goes to the LEGO Millennium Falcon, and first place goes to the LEGO Eiffel Tower.

And tying for third with the Hogwarts Express LEGO set, we have the LEGO Hogwarts Castle, LEGO Colosseum, and LEGO Taj Mahal.
