In some really unexpected news, Pancheros, the burrito chain, has closed their Rochester, Minnesota location. I can't believe it! People really loved that place.

When Did Pancheros Open in Rochester, MN
Pancheros, known for their Bob tool, a special spatula that they created to mix up the ingredients in their burritos for a Better Built Burrito, opened in Rochester in April of 2017. After being in town for over 8 years, it shocks me that they would suddenly close the location.
Big shout-out to Kim, by the way, who messaged us on our station app about the closure.
I also found a post on the Rochester Reddit page from Thursday late-morning about Pancheros' sudden closure. The original poster writes, "I loved Pancheros", and a lot of people would agree.

Pancheros Closes Rochester, MN Location
If you go by the Pancheros location in Rochester, you'll find a handwritten sign on the door that says:
Thank you for your support. Unfortunately, this location is closed permanently.
In my opinion, I feel like you know it's a sudden closure that not even the employees were expecting when the sign on the door is handwritten.
It's really sad to see them go! Their burritos were really good.
As others have brought up, though, we have lots of other delicious Mexican restaurants in town, so never fear! Some of them include Los Arcos, Qdoba, Gilbertos, Taco Lab, and many, many other delicious taco trucks in town.
