We're getting excited! There's a local coffee shop and bakery in Rochester, Minnesota that is working on opening a second location. Now we know that they're pretty dang close to opening their doors.

If you've been in Rochester for a minute you've probably noticed the large number of coffee shops we have. I can't complain, I love hitting up coffee shops, and the more options I have, the better. My budget would say otherwise, but whatever!

Even though we have lots of coffee shops, you can't argue that we need a second location of this local favorite because their baked goods are so tasty and their coffee flights are super fun!

Roasted Bliss Second Location

In case you haven't heard the news, Roasted Bliss is opening a second location in Rochester! They shared the news, gosh, I think it was a year ago. They were going to build a new location by Lowe's. That ended up not working out, citing interest rates rising as one of the big issues.

But in the same announcement, they revealed they'd still be opening a second location, but now on Civic Center Drive, in the old Daube's location!

This was back in July when they announced this new plan. And as far as I've seen, I haven't seen an update on an opening date... until now!

A recent Facebook post from Roasted Bliss says that they're getting the electrical routed to their sign. Oh, and they'll be opening in just over a month. Exciting! I reached out to see if they had a specific date in mind and one of the owners, Ali, said it depends on some drive-thru equipment. If everything goes as planned their opening date will be May 3rd, if not, she said "we will probably open [May] 5th." She also told me that the first few weeks will have limited hours but she hopes they'll eventually settle into being open Wednesday - Sunday.
