Rochester Costco’s Liquor Store Expansion is Complete, Here’s What We Noticed

An expansion project that had been going on all summer in Rochester seems to finally be complete: the Rochester Costco Liquor expansion project.

Rochester Costco Liquor Expansion

The expansion project at Costco Liquor started in June and continued all summer long. They had to close part of the parking lot for the project, but now the work appears to be done.

Thanks to the expansion, it looks like the liquor store is now double in size! I don't know the exact measurements or anything like that, but based on what I saw this past weekend that's what it looks like to me.

What's Missing From the Rochester Costco Liquor Store

It looked like there was a wider selection on liquors and beers. The wine selection looked just as large as normal. But there's one thing that we feel like is missing still: a beer cooler.

When Dunken originally reported on the expansion project in June, he had spoken with an employee about the construction. He mentioned that it would be nice for there to be a big beer cooler. That way if you're grabbing beer for a party it's already cold. I totally agree, that'd be nice!

However, the employee he spoke with couldn't confirm if there would be a cooler or not and... sadly it appears we will not be getting one. It looks like all of the equipment is gone from the construction and that it is, indeed, complete. Maybe next time!
