A Truck Driver’s $15 Bet at Routine Iowa Casino Stop Turns Into a Massive Payday
Most casino visits don't exactly go according to plan. You go in hoping to have a little fun, maybe win enough to pay for dinner, and hopefully walk out with a little more money than you started with.

But this guy had a considerably better night than that.
Truck Driver Makes a Quick Casino Stop and Lands a Huge Jackpot
A truck driver from Buffalo, Missouri, was visiting Diamond Jo Casino in Northwood, Iowa, on Thursday, October 1. According to the casino, his trucking routes regularly take him through the area, and he enjoys stopping in to play when he's nearby.
Around 8 p.m., he was playing an IGT Triple Gold Bars slot machine when a $15 bet turned into the biggest win of his life.
I've never been much of a casino regular, but I think most of us have had that moment watching someone hit a jackpot and wondering what it would be like to be on the other side of that machine. For this guy, it was apparently a pretty good night to give it a spin.
His $15 bet turned into a progressive jackpot worth $99,999.99. Not a bad return on investment!
The winner, who chose to remain anonymous, says he plans to put the money toward retirement. That's a pretty solid retirement contribution for an evening out.
