You've likely purchased groceries from Walmart since October 19th, 2018. If you have, you might be entitled to receive up to $500 from the retail giant. While Walmart hasn't admitted any wrongdoing, they settled a lawsuit and will pay $45 million to compensate customers.

The company denied the allegations but said, "We believe a settlement is in the best interest of both parties.”

There are 64 Walmart SuperCenters in Minnesota. If you bought groceries at one of these stores between October 19th, 2018 - January 19th, 2024, you could be eligible for a cash payment.

If you shopped at any Walmart in the U.S. or Puerto Rico between October 19, 2018, and January 19, 2024, and purchased weighted goods or bagged citrus, you might qualify for a cash payment.

How To File a Claim

If you qualify, you have the option to submit a claim form online or through the mail. It must be postmarked or submitted online by June 5, 2024.

$10: If you don't have proof of purchase but confirm that you bought up to 50 weighted goods and/or bagged citrus in person during the Settlement Class Period.

$15: If you don't have proof of purchase but confirm buying 51-75 weighted goods and/or bagged citrus in person during the Settlement Class Period.

$20: If you don't have proof of purchase but confirm buying 76-100 weighted goods and/or bagged citrus in person during the Settlement Class Period.
