Costco Just Cut Prices on These Popular Minnesota Items
If you're a Costco member, there's good news this week, as the retail club just announced that it was dropping prices on a number of some of its most popular items both here in Minnesota and around the country.
How Many Costco Stores Are Currently Open in Minnesota?
Just how many Costco warehouse stores are there in the Land of 10,000 Lakes in 2026? Well, with the addition of the newest Costco warehouse, which opened in Chaska in late 2024, Costco says there are now 14 locations operating across Minnesota.
Given our state's current population of about 5.8 million people, that means Minnesota has roughly one Costco location for every 414,000 residents. And now there's some good news concerning prices that are coming down for Costco members across the North Star State and country.

When you think of Costco, you probably think of buying huge packages of toilet paper or paper towels, giant tubs of guacamole, queso, or other delicious dips, and massive packages of coffee and other food items, right?
Well, sure, Costco has all of those items and more. In fact, a story by Real Simple found that the most popular items Minnesotans like to buy when they head to Costco are:
- Kirkland Signature Organic No-Salt Seasoning
- Kirkland Signature Three Berry Blend
- Kirkland Signature Italian-Style Beef Meatballs.
Costco Announces Price Cuts on Popular Kirkland Products
And now there's good news concerning some other popular Kirkland items that Costco sells. According to USA Today, Costco's executive vice president and chief financial officer, Gary Millerchip, mentioned price drops for the following items during an earnings conference call on Friday, May 29, 2026:
- Kirkland Signature Crispy Wings – From $16.99 to $14.99
- Kirkland Signature Milk Chocolate Almonds – From $19.99 to $18.99
- Kirkland Signature Golf Balls – From $32.99 to $29.99
- Kirkland Signature King Size Sheets – From $89.99 to $79.99
USA Today noted that those new prices aren't necessarily showing up on Costco's website just yet, though it did say that prices may vary by location. So keep watching your local Costco to see if these price cuts are reflected here in Minnesota.
Which Minnesota Costco Locations Have Liquor Stores?
Meanwhile, many Minnesotans also visit Costco to stock up on adult beverages. Costco liquor stores sell many name brands but also their own in-house brand, as well. According to this survey, Costco's Kirkland Signature brand of spirits is known to rival or even beat top-shelf competitors that typically sell at a much higher price.
