What were you doing on New Year's Eve? Drinking champagne? Watching the ball drop? Snoring? One Rochester couple had different plans as they were welcoming the cutest little baby to the world!

Is there anything more special than ringing in the new year with a new life? These are my favorite stories - reading about the newest bundles of joy!

There were several babies born across the country on New Year's day, including one right here in Olmsted County. And she is just darling!!

Sweet little Marlee Ann made her grand entry into the world at 6:32a on January 1st.

Back to the picture perfect Marlee Ann. Weighing in at 7 pounds, 7 ounces and 20.5 inches long.

Marlee was born at Mayo Clinic to Rochester parents, Lauren and Kyle Mittlieder.

Congrats to the happy little family!

Marlee wasn't the first born in Minnesota. The first was a precious little boy born in Maple Grove.

According to KSTP, Doa Her and Thao Xiong welcomed their baby to the world at 12:20a Monday. He weighed in a 7 pounds, 6 ounces.
