Thanksgiving is almost behind us and Christmas is right around the corner. What do you do to celebrate? There are a ton of towns and cities in Minnesota that go all out on the holiday festivities! Here are some of the best!

These towns have the most Christmas spirit!

Plainview - The small town of Plainview transforms for one weekend so you can enjoy all the holiday festivities with their Old Fashion Christmas. Rochester - Santa Claus is coming to town!! Enjoy a Winter Workshop at Historic Chateau Theatre, book readings with Mrs. Claus, Santa's Daring Rescue at Residences of Old City Hall, and the Magical Tree Lighting on the Peace Plaza. Click here to get all the details. 

Stillwater - One of my all time fave Minnesota towns, Stillwater. The magic of the holidays fills the city with Hometown for the Holidays. Participate in one or all of the many fun holiday events like a wreath making workshop, a pet parade, tree lighting festival, the Nutcracker ballet, holiday beertique, horse and buggy rides and so much more. Little Falls - Ring in the holiday season with The Little Falls Christmas Tours. The four locations that are part of the tour this year each have their own theme: The Nutcracker Suite at the Rosenmeier Home Tours, Christmas at the Mansions at Linden Hill Historic Estate, Christmas Tree Lane & Special Displays at the MN Fishing Museum & Hall of Fame, and A Holiday Flight at the Charles Lindbergh House & Museum. Click here to learn more.

Duluth - Home of Bentleyville, consistently named one of the best light shows in the country! It's one of America’s largest free walk-through lights displays. More than 5 million lights spread across a 20-acre park on the shores of Lake Superior. Yes, please!! You can snap a pic with Santa, warm up with a cup of cocoa, and enjoy delicious festive snacks.

St Paul - With the incredible Glow Holiday Fest, it's no surprise that St. Paul made the list. With events until December 31st, there's something for everyone. Owatonna - A lighted parade through downtown Owatonna kicks off the holiday season in early December. Followed by Christmas in the Village.
