The home became known as "Marble Lago" because, well... it really does live up to the name. We're not talking about just a fancy marble kitchen island or a bathroom with a few upgrades. This house took marble to a whole different level.

Nearly every inch of the home, inside and out, is covered in marble. According to the original listing, it features more than 20 different types of high-end marble, with many pieces imported from Italy and other parts of Europe.

Located in Rochester's Pill Hill neighborhood just a short walk from St. Mary's, the three-bedroom, three-bath home was described as an architectural masterpiece, blending its original Art Deco character with modern updates for a glamorous, Great Gatsby-inspired feel.

And apparently, we weren't the only ones fascinated by it.

When the home first hit the market, it immediately caught national attention and was nominated by the super popular Zillow Gone Wild. Not long after, the home made the jump from social media sensation to tv when it was featured on HGTV's Zillow Gone Wild, hosted by Jack McBrayer.
