The Minnesota Twins are hoping your taste buds can do what last season’s record couldn’t: fill the seats. With cheap beer and free ice cream on the menu at Target Field this season, the team is rolling out a summer-long experiment in winning over fans one concession stand at a time.

If you're a fan of the Minnesota Twins, you know that the 2025 season was a rough one. Despite a historic 13-game winning streak in May of last year, the Twins then sputtered the rest of the season, which caused ownership to make some massive moves.

In a surprise trade deadline fire sale last July, the Twins traded 10 major league players, including core stars Carlos Correa, Jhoan Duran, and Griffin Jax and more, to restock their farm system and pare down their payroll.

When the season ended last September, the Twins fired manager Rocco Baldelli, and then parted ways with former Executive Vice President and Chief Baseball Officer Derek Falvey in January of this year.

New Target Field Concessions: $2 Beers and Free Ice Cream

As a result, your 2026 Twins starting lineup will be filled with a lot of new faces this season, with how good they'll be on the field a question mark. But the team did announce some unique promotions-- like cheap beer and free ice cream-- to lure fans back to Target Field this year.

The Twins made the announcement on their social media, saying:

Introducing the 2026 Promo schedule, $2 BEERS on Friday and Saturdays, Friday Night Happy Hours, AND FREE ice cream for kids on Sundays!

2026 Minnesota Twins Promo Schedule & Theme Nights

We always try to make it to see the Twins at least once a season, so I'm definitely going to look at getting tickets on a Friday or Saturday this year. Meanwhile, the Twins are also back with another big line-up of Theme Nights at Target Field this season, including:
