They sifted through gobs of info on TheKnot.com to find some of the finest wedding venues in the US based on the number of guests, price range, amenities, types of ceremonies each venue offers, and finally, ratings and reviews of each place.

It sounds about right to call Prevailing Winds Lodge one of the best in America.
They say it's the premier venue for weddings, corporate functions, and more while adding that their lodge offers the "most intimate of settings for small weddings and breathtaking vistas from high atop our prairie for large weddings."
Prevailing Winds isn't afraid to tell people how much it'll set them back, either, because if you want quality, you've got to pay for it.
At Prevailing Winds, the flat fee ranges from $6,000 to $15,000, depending on the size of the party and the "vision for your weekend."
If you can swing it financially, Prevailing Winds is not only the spot for weddings in the Midwest but also one of the greatest in America.
Have you been to a wedding at this venue? Is it all hype or worth the dough?
