The weekend storm that visited Minnesota this weekend proved to be less impactful than forecasted, but still left some impressive snowfall totals in its wake.

It was the first measurable snow for the southern half of the state since Halloween, when most of the area picked up an inch or two.

Now that the snow has moved out, the cold weather is here to stay for a few days. Wind chill will range from -20 to -35. Please dress in layers, cover exposed skin, and limit time outside.

The next week to ten days looks to be free of snow or any other precipitation across southern Minnesota.
