Massive Dinosaurs Come to Life in Rochester Next Month
There have been a few big dinosaur events coming through Minnesota and Rochester specifically too. There's another one on the way in July that your kids are going to love! It's called Jurassic Quest and there are all sorts of ways you can experience this event.
Where Will Jurassic Quest be in Rochester, MN?
The Jurassic Quest experience will be set up in the Mayo Civic Center. All I'm thinking about is the set-up required for this event because these dinosaurs are huge!
When Will Jurassic Quest be in Rochester, MN?
You can see and interact with these dinosaurs on July 8th, 9th, and 10th, so mark your calendar and think about getting tickets now. Jurassic Park mentions on their Facebook page that they anticipate the event to sell out.
What Can You See/Do at Jurassic Quest?
There will be so many dinosaurs to see at Jurassic Quest, part of me wants to go myself! On their Facebook page, Jurassic Quest says it's the " largest and most realistic dinosaur exhibit". Dinosaurs that will be there include "50 foot long Megalodon, 60 ft. long, sky-scraping Spinosaurus, the 80 ft. long Apatosaurus" and, of course, a huge lifesize T-Rex.
On top of being able to see those massive dinosaurs, there will also be dinosaurs that you can RIDE and a baby dinosaur and Raptor Training Experience that you can interact with. Yeah, your kids can ride on a dinosaur. Now that's a great photo op!
There will also be a fossil dig and a fossil exhibit to check out while you're there. So not only can your kids be wowed by the dinosaurs, but they can also learn a little about these huge creatures that used to roam the earth.
