A nearly 100 mile Torch Run is scheduled today with several area law enforcement agencies.  This benefit for Special Olympics will have officers running, biking and rollerblading through southeast Minnesota.

The team photo opportunity will happen at 8 a.m. this morning at the Rochester Carquest location, then they be stopping by Pine Island around 10:45 a.m., Zumbrota City Hall around 11:25 a.m., Lake City Park at approximately 2:00 p.m., Red Wing City Hall around 3:45 p.m. and Hastings Roadside Park around 6:35 p.m.

The Law Enforcement Torch Run® (LETR) is the largest grassroots fundraiser and public awareness vehicle for Special Olympics in the World. The Minnesota LETR is supported by the Minnesota Chiefs of Police Association and Minnesota Fraternal Order of Police.
