AUSTIN, Minn. (AP) — Police in Austin have taken a man in custody following a 13-hour standoff.

Officers were called to an apartment building about 8:30 p.m. Sunday on a report a man may have a gun and was possibly a danger to himself or others.

Nearby apartments were evacuated and police cordoned off the building. Officers finally entered the man's apartment about 10 a.m. Monday and arrested him.
