Lost Island Waterpark Voted 2nd Best Outdoor Waterpark In The Country

A survey from the USA Today just listed off the Top 10 outdoor waterparks in the nation, and Lost Island Waterpark in Waterloo, Iowa came in at #2. It is just over 2 hours away from Rochester, making it a driveable day trip for many families in Southeast Minnesota!  Here is what the USA Today said about the park:

At Lost Island Waterpark in Waterloo, Iowa, park-goers can take the plunge at Lost Soul Falls, catch a wave in Tsunami Bay, float the Kailahi River, play some volleyball in Blue Iguana Lagoon or ride one of the world's only hydromagnetic water coasters, Wailua Kapua.

 

24 Acres Of Water-Filled Fun

Lost Island Waterpark has 24 acres of fun in the water for you and the entire family! According to the waterpark's website, they have major waterslides including tube slides, body slides, water coaster, wave pool, lazy river, toddler area, and raft rides. On top of all of that, they also have the longest go-kart track in the midwest!

One of their major waterslides is Wailua Kupua, which is a hydromagnetic water coaster. Being one of only a handful of rides of its kind in the world, Wailua Kupua will definitely bring the thrills to everyone!

 

 

If you are looking for more waterslide excitement, you may want to check out Lost Souls Falls. This slide drops you down at 28-feet per second and will be a part of the conversation on the ride home, and for lifelong summer memories.
