Mayo’s Network Adds First Provider from Texas
Mayo Clinic’s growing network of health care centers has expanded to the Lone Star State. The Methodist Health System serves northern Texas and is the first in the state to join Mayo’s network.
The Dallas-based health care provider is one of the oldest non-profit organizations in north Texas. Its first hospital opened in 1927 and as of last year, the system had 7600 full-time employees.
The Mayo Clinic Care Network was started in 2011 and now has 31 members in 31 states, Mexico and Puerto Rico.
