Now Closing - Milkweed Coffee Shop in Minneapolis, Minnesota
Milkweed, a coffee shop in the Minneapolis, Minnesota area, has been a place many have come to love these past years. For those who search for gluten-free foods, this specialized bakery has been the solution for many. Sadly, it appears that those treats are ending.
A heartfelt note indicating that this beloved location was closing was shared on the Milkweed Instagram page:
Dear Milkweed community,
We regret to tell you that we will be closing permanently. October 5th will be our last day of regular service.
Our time in this space has been so full of joy and friends and delicious healing food and beverages. We’re walking away happy with all that we have created and sustained for almost 7 years on Lake Street. This mom and pop shop would not have been the same without the support of all of our regulars, neighbors, friends, and most importantly staff who breathed life into our sunny corner. We are so grateful for this era of our lives and all we’ve learned. Thank you humbly for your patronage and encouragement!!

Sincerely,
Brenda Ingersoll and Alex Needham
