As soon as Minnesota started to thaw, everyone around me at work started to talk about golf.  The Masters, hitting balls at the driving range, playing 9 or 18 holes...these are the discussions that about 48.1 million Americans have who love playing golf.

Growing up, the only type of golf that I even knew about was mini-golf.  I was a basketball and volleyball player...because I was tall, and golf was never brought up as an option.  I never even walked on a golf course until I was in my 30s.  (In other words, you do not want me on your team...ever.)

In a few weeks, not only do you have a chance to be in a great golf event and have a chance at winning amazing prizes, but by participating, you are giving kids in the Rochester area a chance to play golf...some, for the first time.

13 Plants You Should Put In Your Minnesota Yard To Help Repel Mosquitoes

When you have a state that boasts about 10,000+ lakes, it is a given that mosquitoes go along with that prize.
