Minnesota Counties With The Most Tornadoes

Tornado season is here, with severe weather happening in parts of the Midwest. Minnesota is on the northern side of tornado alley, but we still get our share.

The National Weather Service keeps historical data tornado touchdowns across the state. Some counties are far less likely to get tornados, like Cook, Lake, and Carlton County. Those counties have the fewest recorded tornadoes since 1950.
