Slick Travel Conditions Cause Multiple Injury Crashes Across Minnesota Monday Morning
Undated (KROC-AM News)- A light snowfall caused slick travel conditions that led to more than a dozen injury crashes across Minnesota on Monday.

At least two of the injury crashes occurred in the State Patrol’s Rochester District, which covers southeast Minnesota.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation indicated the majority of the major roads in the Rochester area became partially covered with snow and ice during Monday morning’s commute.

The State Patrol says there were 177 crashes statewide from midnight until 10:30 Monday morning. 15 of the crashes involved injuries, none of which were fatal. 39 vehicles were off the road and six spinouts were reported.
The first of the two southeast Minnesota injury crashes occurred around 7:40 a.m. on Interstate 35, just south of the 26th St. interchange in Owatonna.
74-year-old Michael Terrance Landrum of Owatonna lost control of his southbound car and went into the ditch, according to the state crash report.
77-year-old Omar Jacob Feyen of Dodge Center was identified as the driver of a pick-up that crashed into the ditch on Hwy. 14 at the intersection of Hwy. 14 and Dodge County Rd. 9.
The state crash report says he lost control of the vehicle on the slick four-lane highway shortly before 9 a.m. The State Patrol says both drivers were taken to hospitals for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
