Cheapism compiled a list of the best seafood restaurants in every state. The good news is that the best seafood restaurant in Minnesota has not just one, but three locations for you to visit.
Smack Shack was named the best seafood restaurant in the United States. They were named OpenTable's 2024 Diners' Choice, too.
Smack Shack is known for their casual seafood including lobster boils and lobster rolls.
Cheapism says you need to try their Lobster Poutine. WHAT!?
Their lobster poutine is made of Cajun Fries, Taleggio Gravy, Lobster Claw, and Cheese Curds. It's $23.95, which seems like a good value to me!
Other menu items include oysters, mussels, crab cakes, shrimp, salmon bowls, and all sorts of PO' Boy Sandwiches. Looking for a lobster bisque? They serve it daily with Griddled Milk Bread.
You can find Smack Shack at 603 N Washington Avenue in Minneapolis. At 3801 Minnesota Drive in Bloomington, and at the Rosedale Center.
