Minnesota Wild Goalie Makes Canadiens’ Fan Night With Simple Gesture
There isn't a whole lot of positive to write about with the Minnesota Wild early in the season. They have started off 1-6-0 and on Thursday night were in Montreal to play the Canadiens at the Bell Centre, a game in which they lost 4-0. It wasn't all bad last night in Montreal as Minnesota Wild Goaltender Devan Dubnyk displayed some kindness to a Montreal fan. He let the young man put on this goalie mask, a pretty cool experience.
I'm sure these moments happen quite a bit in the NHL, but this one was caught on the camera of someone in attendance and shared on Instagram by user dillavision. The NHL Twitter account picked up on it and shared the video this morning.
What a special moment for that young man. Canada's ESPN, TSN put up this graphic about the Wild this morning.
It features a quote by Jason Zucker stating to the Star Tribune, "Bruce has got to be better. We’ve got to be better. Everybody’s got to be better."
You have to go ALL the way back to their inaugural season to find the Wild's worst statistical season, 25-39-13.
