While people seem to be excited for Minnesota's own residential celebrity chef's new restaurant to open, you may want to read the menu and the ingredients very, very closely... this is Andrew Zimmern we're talking about here!

Zimmern, who's well-known worldwide for his exotic tastes thanks to his show Bizarre Foods on the Travel Channel, is about to open his brand new Twin Cities restaurant, Lucky Cricket, today!

According to Bring Me The News, Lucky Cricket will serve Chinese cuisine inspired by his experiences in the Orient. The menu will focus on small-plate foods and shareable dishes, with variations on foods in the Cantonese, Fujianese, Hunan, Shandong and Sichuan styles.

The restaurant will be located at the Shops at West End in St. Louis Park.

I've certainly expanded my horizon in trying new foods over the years, however, I think I'll sit this one out.
